I was working on this project in 3D Department as Environment Artist and in 2D Department as Compositor. I was responsible for look dev, modeling, texturing, shading, lighting and rendering of reef (underwater shots) using 3ds Max nad Vray. Moreover I comped few shots of reef using Nuke and a much more from another scenes.

The Mines

One of the last projects in which I was involved in Platige Image lately. I was responsible for rendering miner's hand using Maya and Arnold (shading, lighting, rendering). More over I worked on that project as compositor as well.

UH60 Blackhawk - Arnold

It's been a while since my last post. I was pretty busy those days working on few commercials projects but I found some spare time to learnt Arnold Rendered and did private project. I modeled extra details for that blackhawk, light it and rendered using Maya and Arnold. Composition was done in Nuke and extra post processing as final touch in After Effects. I did some color variations and can't decide which I like the most.

Compositing breakdown from commercial which was made in Xantus S.A. I was responsible for Compositing in whole spot and VFX (tracking and cleaning footage). Comp was made in After Effects.

FXPHD - nuke 216 - Compositing Breakdown

Another exercise from FXPHD course, January term. Nuke 216 for compositors. Integration live action footage with 3d background. I rotoed out silhouette of character and chroma keyed head. Then comped everything together.

FXPHD nuke 204 - VFX

As part of my January term I finished shot from FXPHD classes. It was my adaptation and vision for that particular footage. I did all aspects. All VFX was done in Nuke X. Final touch as grading and lens flares I added in After Effects. I replaced sky, removed cars from street and added extra animating text on building. A lot of work but also good exercise.

 

Abstract Mesh

I stared playing with Cinema4d and there is my first render. Cinema is really powerful tool for motion designers indeed. Compositing was done in After Effects.

Adobe CS6 - Free Upgrade and good price

There are last chance to buy Adobe CS 5.5 packet in promotional price and upgrade for free to CS6. Let get chance. I think Adobe CS6 is worth of buying. I got already one and waiting for free upgrade. More information about new features you can find at premier presentation of Adobe CS6. We will see if Adobe After Effects is closer to NUKE now.
